Rolling Down Window Unlocks Door

Switched off the auto roll down on long press option in mmi and i still get this issue.
Rolling down window unlocks door. As above this could be another fault or me being a muppet. I swear i did not leave them open as i rarely roll them down at all. About 15 seconds later the windows roll down doors unlock on their own. Next about a week ago i walk out in the morning to find the front windows cracked open about an inch but the doors are still locked.
On many car models the electric remotes that lock and unlock the doors and trunk come standard but a convenient feature of the key remote has long gone unused by many car owners. My wife beats me out the door first thing in the morning then comes back in and asks me if i left the front windows down and the doors unlocked. I store my car in the winter and usually disconnect the battery. We shut it down with the windows up get out lock it from the door handle button.
Car talk s senior web lackey asked how the button may have been held down but the answer is unclear. The remotes can often lower a car s windows allowing owners to start airing out the car before hopping inside. That s the mystery i haven t been able to solve. Having said that switching on the option and holding down the unlock button for a few seconds just unlocks the doors for me the window still rolls down a few inches but not fully.
When i get home i try doing the auto window reset just for s s and g s and the windows completely deactivate cant roll them up or down. Now the car has no power and when i try to open the door manually using the key the door will not open as the window will not roll down and it is stuck at the door panel. Problem is i didn t follow the instructions in the owner manual for the proper way of disconnecting the battery.
